Cleveland
at Detroit,Lunar Rejven8 Mid, Game 3
You'd start to talk about how Detroit's home crowd is going
to make a difference, how the team would be riled up to hold serve against the
squad with the best record in the NBA, and how a proud team of former champions
would be set to rally and make a series of it.
And then you remember all the times the Pistons laid an egg
in Detroit this season, often on Sundays, going through the motions with or
without Allen Iverson and/or Rasheed Wallace to blame. Should be interesting.
Orlando
at Philadelphia, Game 3
Along the same lines, you'd expect the Philly crowd to be raucous
and ready, but you just didn't see a lot of that in 2008-09, as the 76ers held
onto that playoff spot.
Then again, the playoffs are different,Zoom Kobe VII, so maybe the crowds
will change as well.
Portland
at Houston,Nike Air Max 2009, Game 3
And then there's Houston,
which has gotten a bad rap as being a rather ho-hum home crowd over the years
(I swear that I didn't mean to make this the recurring thread, ‘ere), but has
the best home team of the three playing tonight. Game 2 was a near-classic,
Game 3 shouldn't disappoint.
