Day three of our completely pointless, albeit oddly entertaining, BDL Bedlam Tournament. Thanks to your help,
we've compiled a list of 64 things that you may or may not love about
the NBA and seeded them into four regions. We're unveiling all 32 first
round match-ups over the course of this week, and voting will remain
open until Sunday.
We're movin' now. Time for our third BDL region. Starting up the Lord Baron Region it's No. 8 seed Steve Nash in transition vs. No. 9 seed Manu Ginobili's pump fake. This tourney is loaded with international flavor. A closer look at the nominees: No. 8 Steve Nash in transition: "I said to [Nash], 'Dammit, Steve,Zoom Rookie, you penetrate the paint and you kick the ball out with one hand,2012 New arrival Jordan heels Womens Hi-Top Black White Blue, you gotta do it with two hands.' And he said, 'If I do it with one hand, it's about three-tenths of a second faster, and my teammate is going to have a better look at the basket.'" -- Dick Davey, Santa Clara coach in NY Times' Play. No. 9 Manu Ginobili's pump fake: 1.) pump fake. verb. To move the arm holding the ball as if to shoot but not actually releasing; to pretend to shoot a ball; also written pump-fake 2.) manu fake. verb. To contort the body, head and ball as if to shoot but not actually releasing; to draw the foul; also written "selling the contact"; "sneaky flopping" So, who/what makes it through to the second round? What do you love? Vote or die.
