According to sources familiar with the situation (see: Majority,Air Jordan IV(4), Unsilent), the Washington Wizards have relieved Eddie Jordan of his coaching duties. Team President Ernie Grunfeld handed E.J. his pink slip in a meeting this morning. (And you thought your Monday sucked.)

In each of the last two seasons the Wizards made the playoffs despite injuries to every single player on their roster.
