Tuesday:Partly cloudy. Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 30s for lows and lower 50s for highs.

Friday:Showers and thunderstorms. Winds will veer from the east to the southwest around 10 to 20 mph. A few of the thunderstorms may reach severe levels with strong wind gusts, heavy downpours, frequent lightning, and large hail. Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s over the northern New Jersey and lower to upper 60s over central and southern New Jersey for highs.

Friday Night:Showers will linger followed by clearing conditions. Winds will be from the northwest around 10 to 20 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast.

Here is the new seven day forecast!

A lingering cold front just off the New Jersey coast brought a few showers across the state early this morning, which allowed the low levels of the atmosphere to become moist. As high pressure continues to build in this morning, the combination of this moisture with light winds has supported dense fog throughout New Jersey with western and northern New Jersey experiencing the lowest visibilities around a quarter of a mile or less.

The track of the upper low tomorrow afternoon dictates that the warm front will only get as far north as central New Jersey for the Garden State before sliding northeastward towards Long Island. This means that the northern half of New Jersey will remain in a cool sector of this low pressure system. Meanwhile, timberland boots in uk, very warm and unstable air will enter much of central and southern New Jersey. Locations roughly five to ten miles away from the coast will see temperatures rapidly jump from the mid to upper 50's into the lower to mid 60's for highs in the afternoon. If more breaks in the clouds develop, some locations may even reach the upper 60's to around 70 degrees! However, while the clearing skies and warm temperatures will feel great at first, the warm conditions will lead to the development of strong to severe thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening.

Wednesday:Partly cloudy. Temperatures will range from the upper 20s to lower 30s for lows and upper 40s to lower 50s for highs.

Monday:Partly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid 40s along the coast for lows and mid to upper 50s for highs.

Another low pressure system will move through New Jersey on Monday with scattered showers. At this time, louis vuitton bags, the threat for severe weather is minimal with more of a focus over the southern Mid Atlantic. This low pressure system will also intensify at the upper levels are carve a large trough over the Northeast and Mid Atlantic that will influence the weather through the rest of the week. Clear to partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures can be expected through the rest of the week as cool Canadian high pressure takes hold over much of the East.

This is why the position of the warm front will be key. Initially on Friday morning, showers will move through much of New Jersey as the warm front moves north. Locations over northern New Jersey will remain to the north of the warm front, which will lead to overcast skies, coach outlet, drizzle, and a few showers through the afternoon. Meanwhile, the clouds will break up to the south of the warm front. Temperatures will rise rapidly as a result. The unstable atmosphere combined with lifting from the advancing occluded/cold fronts over Pennsylvania and favorable upper level lifting will produce a line of showers and strong to severe thunderstorms. The thunderstorms will be of the low top variety given the atmosphere set up,replica louis vuitton handbags, which means that the most significant threat will be strong wind gusts over 50 mph and very heavy downpours along with frequent lightning. As the line of showers and thunderstorms push into northern New Jersey, the storms will become elevated, which means that hail is a slight threat along with heavy rainfall in the late afternoon. Note that locations 5 to 10 miles away from the coast over central and southern New Jersey are under the highest threat for severe weather. However, there is some uncertainty on how the prevailing dry boundary layer due to the drought will have an impact on the development of these storms.

The main story though is not the fog, but a developing and impressive low pressure system over the Southern Plains. A strong upper disturbance is diving into the southern Plains this morning and will enhance a low pressure system that has formed over southern Texas. This low pressure system will race towards the Eastern Great Lakes by tomorrow morning, setting up a potentially active severe weather event for tomorrow afternoon and evening.

Today:Fog this morning will give way to partly cloudy skies with winds from the southeast around 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will rise into the lower to mid 60s along the coast and mid to upper 60s over the rest of the state for highs.

The low pressure system and cold/occluded fronts will clear New Jersey by the late evening which will bring clearing skies to New Jersey. The strong low pressure system will bring windy conditions on Friday night through Saturday with sustained winds from the northwest and west around 15 to 30 mph. However, weak high pressure will calm winds by Sunday with clear skies and temperatures in the 50's and 60's.

Foggy start to the day, NOAA satellite

Sunday:Clear to partly cloudy skies. Temperatures will range from the mid to upper 30s over the interior and lower to mid 40s along the coast for lows and upper 50s to mid 60s for highs.

Saturday:Partly cloudy and windy. Winds will be from the west and northwest around 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts. Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s for highs.

Tonight:Clear to partly cloudy with winds from the east around 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will fall into the mid to upper 40s over the interior and upper 40s to lower 50s along the coast.

The fog will burn off from northwest to southeast through the late morning and early afternoon hours as weak high pressure builds over the Mid Atlantic. Once skies clear, temperatures will quickly jump into the 60's throughout the state with the exception of the immediate coast where upper 50's can be expected in some locations.

The frontal structures of this low pressure system, which will be located over Lake Erie by tomorrow afternoon, will be very similar to what was seen last Sunday. An occluded front will extend from the Great Lakes into eastern Pennsylvania. A warm front will quickly move from southwest to northeast through southeastern Pennsylvania and central New Jersey. The cold front will extend southward where a triple point (location where an occluded, true religion jeans outlet, warm, and cold front meet) will be centered to the south and west of Philadelphia and then move through central New Jersey along the stalled warm front.

There are some important features that need to be examined before diving into the forecast for tomorrow afternoon. First and foremost, note the amount of moisture that is pooling over the Gulf Coast this morning. Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected throughout the Southeast and as the upper low over Texas begins to move into the Mississippi Valley and then the Ohio Valley tonight, that moisture will be pulled northwards towards the Mid Atlantic and New Jersey. The surface reflection of that moist air is in the form of a warm front that will drive northward tonight through tomorrow afternoon. The position and strength of this warm front will be key in the forecast of not only severe weather, but also the high temperatures over much of the southern two-thirds of New Jersey tomorrow afternoon.
